| The
Restaurant "the Convent" is located in one of the oldest nuclei
of the Condal City, next to the "Rambla de las Flores". Its history dates from year 1,713 when the “Convent of Santa Maria de Jerusalem” was built. With the passage of the years and due to their anxious history it also took to him to be the first quarter of the Civil Guard in Barcelona and in the seat of the artillery regiment, of the called city "the Blouse". Later towards year 1,836 and obeying the municipal orders, the city council decided to build a porch seat that the suitable site for the installation would be from the "Market of the Boquería". |
